About Shazam Fury of the Gods
Following the release of Shazam! in April 2019, a sequel was immediately in the works. Morgan joined the project shortly after to edit Gayden's original screenplay. Also expected to return by December of that year were Sandberg and Levi (Shazam). Zegler, Mirren, and Liu were cast as the daughters of Atlas in the beginning of 2021 after the title and the rest of the returning cast had been announced in August 2020. In Atlanta, Georgia, filming began in May and was finished in August.
Honest Review of this Movie
Excellent movie... felt nothing like a DC film at all. It's enjoyable all around. There was enough of action, the right amount of humour and emotions, and all of this was supported by a fast-paced plot and fantastic CGI, so there were no dull or sluggish parts. The primary two (non-superhero) males, Billy and Freddy, have been given the most screen time while still receiving equal representation from everyone else. Freddy (Jack Dylan Grazer) was the finest character in the film, which is something I never imagined I'd say. Without disclosing any spoilers, his character received the funniest and most moving sequences, which left the majority of audience members in the theatre with dry mouths. It's absolutely wonderful.

Shazam Fury of the Gods Storyline/Plot
Hespera and Kalypso, two of the Titan Atlas' daughters, enter into the Acropolis Museum in Athens, Greece, two years after Thaddeus Sivana is vanquished,[a] in order to take the Wizard's broken staff.They deliver it to the imprisoned Wizard in the Gods' Realm and demand that he fix the staff and restore its abilities.
Billy Batson and his "Shazamily" of foster children in Philadelphia save lives from the falling Benjamin Franklin Bridge but are blamed for its devastation. As they become older and have their own personal interests, the group is growing apart at home. The oldest girl, Mary, in particular, is upset that her covert existence as a superhero has stopped her from attending college. Billy is concerned that when he "ages out" of the foster care system, the Vasquez family will reject him. The Shazamfamily starts looking into the Daughters when Billy receives a warning from the Wizard about them in a dream.
Freddy Freeman, who is still teased at school, develops feelings for a new girl called Anne and displays his superhero persona for her. Anne is revealed to be their younger sister, Anthea, by Hespera and Kalypso, who also take Freddy's abilities. Billy and the Shazam family try to help Freddy, but the daughters abduct him and surround the city with an impenetrable dome, locking everyone inside. In the Gods' Realm, Freddy and the Wizard are both confined. The Daughters admit that the Wizard killed their father, and they are seeking retribution.
The Shazamfamily, meantime, enters the Rock of Eternity where they come upon Steve, a sentient pen that they use to write a letter to Hespera to plead for Freddy's release. Billy encounters Hespera at a nearby restaurant; while their initial interaction is amicable, she and Kalypso eventually engage in combat with the Shazam Family. During the battle, Pedro loses his magical abilities, and Hespera is taken prisoner and brought to the Rock. Hespera escapes without difficulty and takes the Golden Apple, the Tree of Life's seed. Just as Hespera returns with the Apple, Freddy and the Wizard make an effort to leave the Gods' Realm with the assistance of a sympathetic Anthea. The Daughters are at odds because Kalypso wants to put the Apple on Earth to destroy it, whilst Hespera and Anthea want to utilise it to resurrect their world. Freddy attempts to take the Apple but is caught. When Billy and the Shazam family arrive, Freddy regains his powers.
When Billy and the Shazam family arrive at the Vasquez residence with the Wizard, they tell their foster parents their true identities. In order to get her hands on the Apple, Kalypso arrives with the dragon Ladon. In the battle, everyone but Billy loses their powers, and Kalypso uses the apple to plant the tree at Citizens Bank Park, which gives birth to a variety of monsters like Cyclopes, Harpies, Manticores, and Minotaurs that attack the city. The deadly scheme of their sister is opposed by Hespera and Anthea, but Kalypso fatally wounds Hespera and de-powers Anthea. Billy begs the Wizard to take away his powers out of desperation, but the Wizard tells him that he is a genuine hero and is deserving of them.
Billy takes out to stop Kalypso after hearing the Wizard's advice, and the Shazam family enlists the aid of unicorns to fight the other monsters. Billy convinces a dying Hespera to assist him in stopping Kalypso. While Hespera shrinks the dome to contain them, Billy entices Kalypso to the Park after realising the dome reacts violently to his lightning. Billy battles Kalypso and Ladon before electrocuting them both and killing the Tree and Kalypso's soldiers in the process. This cost him his life. Billy is praised by Hespera as a real deity before she succumbs to her injuries.
Billy's mourning family is brought to the Gods' Realm by Anthea to be buried there. The staff is repaired by Diana Prince, the last person on earth with heavenly abilities, who then imbues it with her power and uses it to resuscitate the Gods' Realm, restore Anthea's abilities, and bring Billy back to life. Billy then uses the staff to give his brothers' abilities back. While Anthea and the Wizard relocate to Earth, the Shazamfamily rebuilds their home.
