Extraction 2 Storyline/Plot
Tyler Rake, a former mercenary who had narrowly escaped his previous mission, has retired to a cabin in Austria when he is asked to help free his ex-wife Mia's sister Ketevan and her two children Sandro and Nina, who are currently being held captive at the Tkachiri prison in Georgia alongside her gangster husband Davit Radiani. Nik and Yaz are enlisted by Tyler to help him get into the prison. They make an effort to leave Ketevan and her kids behind without waking a sleeping Davit, but when Davit awakens and notifies the other captives who are loyal to him, Tyler and his squad are confronted and forced to battle their way out. Tyler is violently attacked by Davit along with Ketevan during the evacuation.
Tyler and Ketevan must battle their way through the mob while being assaulted often and are surrounded by captives. The team succeeds in escaping and making it back to their safehouse in Vienna. Sandro, the adolescent son of Ketevan and Davit who looks up to his father, learns that Tyler killed his father and calls his uncle, Davit's overprotective elder brother Zurab, in secret. Zurab then sets out to find Tyler in order to discover his nephew and wreak revenge. Tyler and the others are pursued by Zurab and his men to the safe house, where they are imprisoned. Sandro leaves the group amid the confusion to look for Zurab.
Yaz is slain by Zurab before Tyler and the others are able to flee in one of his helicopters. The group meets up with Tyler and Ketevan in his cabin, where they are reunited with Mia.
Mia accepts Tyler's apology for departing on a mission before their kid passed away from cancer. Tyler gets in touch with Zurab, who instructs him to meet at an area airport where Sandro is being held prisoner. Tyler discovers Zurab and Sandro in a neighbouring church after attacking the airstrip. Sandro is sporting an explosive vest. Sandro is compelled by Zurab to use Tyler's gun to shoot at him, but when Nik shows up, there is a standoff. The three fire at one other while trying to get Sandro away; Tyler battles and kills Zurab, but Nik is left with a critical injury and collapses as police rush the chapel. Nik and Tyler are subsequently put in jail, and Mia tells Tyler that Ketevan and her kids have been placed in protective custody.
Additionally, she tells him that all of their assets have been frozen. Tyler then requests that Mia send Ketevan $1 million in cash that he has stashed away in his cabin. Tyler is informed by Mia that his son genuinely want to be courageous like him before she bids him farewell. In order to meet with the stranger who offers to enlist him, Tyler is taken outside the jail. Tyler claims that he cannot accept his offer without Nik, but upon closer inspection, he discovers that Nik had already been brought in since he anticipated Tyler's desire for her.
